AIR, There and Everywhere: Welcome to Natalie Wilson

As planned our new Artist In Residence Natalie Wilson took up her position in the Art & Design Team at Edinburgh’s Telford College and moved into the AIRetc studio on the 1st of February. However, you will have noticed that we have not yet said a fond farewell to our previous resident Paul Diamond. This is due to course scheduling restrictions and Paul is currently leading a project on Site Specific Art with the CAP1 Students. The project ends with a group Crit next Friday which will also be Paul’s last day with us. The results of the project will be posted here along with a final posting from Paul.

In the meantime we welcome Natalie! Natalie graduated form Creative Arts School at Telford in 2008 having completed the Btec Foundation and the HND Public Art Courses. She then went on to study Intermedia Art at Edinburgh College of Art, graduating in the summer of 2011 with 1st Class Honours. Natalie works in various media including, photography, video, sound and sculpture. We are delighted to have Natalie with us and look forward to working with her over the next 4 months.

Natalie will be making regular posts on the blog.

Hi Everyone,

This exhibition is the culmination of four amazing months as Artist in Residence at Edinburgh’s Telford College.

The exhibition runs fro Friday the 27th till Sunday the 29th of January, I hope everyone can make it.

the preview is Friday the 27th, 6pm till 8pm

The exhibition is open 11am till 6pm on Saturday and Sunday
